Frequently Asked Questions
What is Product Focus?
Product Focus is a two page section published in every issue of the weekly, international journal of science, Nature. Product Focus provides brief information on the latest products and technology that are made available to the chemistry and the life science research community. Organized by subject, each issue focuses on topics that include antibodies, cell culture, chromatography and diagnostics. Product Focus is typically comprised of five to ten articles of 100 to 200 words each describing a product or a line of products. Adding visual interest, each article includes photography or graphic files submitted by contributors.
Is it valuable to my marketing effort?
Inclusion in Product Focus puts your product in front of more 60,000 paid subscribers. Unlike other scientific publications, scientists pay an average annual fee of $200 to receive Nature, which exhibits the unusual value Nature has in the scientific community. Nature has one of the highest Impact Factors among popular scientific journals.
In addition to appearing in Nature, Product Focus articles are published in every issue of Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods and Nature Reviews Drug Discovery.
How is Product Focus different from a other publication’s press release sections?
Each issue of Product Focus features products together in a selected field, drawing the attention of readers interested in a particular technology or field of application. In a general press release section in which product releases from diverse fields are grouped together, there is not the same focus and your product may be missed.
